Welcome to the Bourne End Buffaloes Inline Hockey Club website.
We are the only club in the county that offers the chance for children aged 6+ upto adult the chance to play inline hockey AND also learn to skate too.
The club was founded in September 1997 and is based at the Bourne End Junior Sports Club, in Bourne End Buckinghamshire.
If you would like to get involved we have inline hockey and the opportunity to "learn to skate" which is part of the Bourne End Buffaloes Inline Hockey Club.
The program is setup to give children and adults the chance to learn to skate in a safe enviroment which gives the individual the chance to "have a go" in a sports hall.
The greatest plus point is that our learn to skate , learn to play inlline hockey and our Bourne End Buffaloes are a friendly club so noone will ever feel left out.
We always welcome new faces and can assure you that you will finish your first session wanting to come back to the club.
Our friendly club atmosphere is based on the simply factor to "have fun" and enjoy skating or hockey and make friends within a club.

"Learn To Play Inline Hockey"
The Bourne End Buffaloes inline Hockey Club have a "Learn to Play Inline Hockey" programme, this is a programme that will teams children and adults the fundamentals of inline hockey with the future goal of joining the Bourne End Buffaloes.
All members that join the "learn to play inline Hockey" have a the opportunity to progress their skills to until they are confident enough to then join the Bourne End Buffaloes Inline Hockey Club.
We have members from as young as 6 years old to 40+ that are currently on the programme.

The Bourne End Buffaloes Senior Team have just completed their 3rd Season of the BIPHA Southern League based at Bisley, Surrey.
The Buffaloes finished 6th in league, having played 16 games, winning 6 and losing 10.
The Senior team finished with a goal difference of -5 and a total of 60 penalty minutes.
Our Junior Buffaloes (under 14's) are currently recruiting new players and our "Learn to Skate Program is also open to new members.

History of The Bourne End Buffaloes
The Bourne End Buffaloes have been established for since September 1997.
In the past 2 years the Buffaloes has set up a new section to introduce more players into "Inline Hockey". which is the "Learn to Skate " programme.
In April 2010 saw a number of the Learn to Skate members , take the next step to step 2 "Learn to Play Hockey" ,
And our "Learn to Play Hockey " group have successfully played their first two games of hockey , winning 5-2 and 7-2 against the Swanley Tigers, they also beat Oxford Blues 4-2 and played their first "ball hockey" game whereby honours were shared finishing 2-2.

We now have a 3 step program which consist's of
- Stage 1 "Learn to Skate"
- Stage 2 "Learn to Play Hockey"
- Stage 3 "Join the Buffaloes and play League Hockey"
About the Club
The club has been involved in competitive games for over 10 years playing friendlies and league games,along with Tournaments.
The club joined the British Inline Puck Hockey Association in October 1997 and played their first game against the formerly known Bristol Knights now known as the Bristol Barracudas.
The club has since played in 3 leagues, playing 2 years in the National Inline Roller Hockey Association finishing 2nd in both under 13's and under 15's age group's in 2003-04 season. And finishing 1st in Under 13's and Under 15's in the 2004-05.
The year 2007-08 season saw the Buffaloes join the BIPHA and played out of Swanley. In the season 07-08 the Buffaloes u16's finished 2nd in the league , and went to the National Finals held at Rotherham Virtual Ice.
